A Snowy Visit
Silently the snow swirls around me
This is my favorite trek
To see that smoke rising is a joy
A sign of good times coming
Knock knock knock
I wait
It swings open
A wonderful friend welcomes me
A long chat about art and friends
How under the full moon the garden shone like magic in the night
A crooked line is unique she says
That's very deep I tell her
Could say the same about a life
A snow ball hurled through the doorway yields a yell of delight
My aunt revels in nature and novelty
Fond goodbyes and we bid adieu
